PENSIONS INFORMATION
A new regime for tax relief on pension
contributions was implemented on 6
April 2006. This replaces the previous
regime which restricted contributions
to a percentage of net relevant
earnings. Transitional reliefs are
available to protect pension rights
that have built up before 6 April 2006.
